TECHNICIAN

Prepping the Doctors patients by gathering medical history, performing testing, scribing, and charting with an EMR program. COA certification a plus.

OPTICIAN

Assist patients with their eye wear selection, ordering glasses, billing insurance, adjusting and fitting of spectacles, and educating patients on lens options and insurance coverage. ABOC or experience in Optical a plus.

RECEPTIONIST

Answering phones, confirming appointments, greeting patients, verifying insurance and eligibility, working on light AR (accounts receivable), and will be cross-trained in some optical to provide help when occasionally needed. Experience as a Medical Receptionist a plus.

ADVANCED EYECARE PROFESSIONALS (AEP) IS SEEKING OPHTHALMOLOGIST PARTNER OR EMPLOYED PHYSICIAN

A well-established multi-location practice celebrating over 40 years in business. Our practices are located in beautiful West Michigan – Hastings, Lowell, and Ionia.

Ideal candidate would be: A general ophthalmologist who performs cataract surgery but is also interested in retina or other specialty to offer our patients. Competitive salary with bonuses, 401k, health insurance, education allowance, and vacation.

We have 25 amazing staff including certified COA techs, ABO opticians, OCS billers and two Practice Managers with extensive eye care experience backgrounds.

Implemented EMR in 2013 using eClinical Works for Practice Management and EMR, advanced technology including OCT, IOL Master, and Penticam.
