Recycle any brand of used contacts, blister packs, top foil, and contact lens cases

Bausch + Lomb ONE by ONE program properly recycles any brand of contact lenses (even used contacts), blister packs, top foil, and contact lens cases at participating offices. AEP is a proud participant of this contact lens recycle program. Simply stop in our Hastings, Ionia or Lowell offices and drop off your contact lens recyclables; even if you didn’t get them from us you can recycle them at our locations. Donate your old glasses/sunglasses to Lions Club Recycle For Sight

Recycle For Sight is a Lions program that collects used eyewear to be donated to developing counties. It’s a great program to help someone see better in a developing country and keep old eyewear out of landfills.

“Instead of throwing away old glasses and sunglasses please donate them. They can be life changing to someone in a developing country,” states Dr. Michael Flohr Ophthalmologist & Lions member.

lions recycle for sightDonation is easy, our Hastings, Ionia and Lowell office locations have a Lions Recycle for Sight collection basket and you simply bring in old eyewear and drop them off.

All eyewear is acceptable (prescription & non-prescription glasses, sunglasses and readers). Children’s glasses are especially needed. Even if the eyewear is broken still donate them because we are sometimes able to repair them or use parts to repair other donated Recycle For Sight frames.

Then the donated glasses will be shipped to a regional Lions Eyeglass Recycling Center where they will be cleaned, categorized by prescription and prepared for distribution by Lions and other groups.
